This photograph was taken by my 17-year-old son, James T. Klopp. Here is his description of it:

This photo was taken on our last night visiting Arches National Park in August, 2025. It was a picturesque scene as the sun set in the west. At the same moment, an almost full moon rose from the Sierra La Sal Mountains the east, with the sun reflecting a pink glow off the snow-covered peaks. The best part of it all was the iconic location my family and I saw this happen at: Balanced Rock. A family just so happened to arrive at the base of the rock, offering a great sense of scale in this wonderful moment.
